L-5137 is located on Martha's Vineyard a small island located 10 miles off coast of Cape Cod in southern Massachusetts. Members of Local 5137 provide protection to the Town of Oak Bluffs along side of approximately 70 call volunteer Firefighters & EMTs. Our population in the winter months is approximetly 4800 residents and upwards of 30,000 residents during spring & summer. Peak Season island wide population exceeds 200,000.

Oak Bluffs is steeped in history being a quant coastal New England town where many rich & famous call a summer home. The movie Jaws was filmed here and you can join the crowds jumping from "The Jaws Bridge". When you come and visit be sure to stop by to say hello
